As a benefits-eligible faculty or staff member, you have access to many health-promoting programs alongside your health plans. Some featured offerings during the Open Enrollment timeframe are:
- Flu shots available at no cost: Flu shots are a fully covered benefit under your USC health plan, and USC also makes them available for free on-site. For more information, visit pharmacies.usc.edu/flu.
- Health assessment incentive: As part of the annual review into the university’s investment in healthy choice offerings, the Health Assessment and Fitness Incentive programs will be combined into one wellness incentive, with an updated savings of $300 in 2025. Complete your steps by Dec. 13, 2024, and you will save for 2025. - Tobacco Cessation Program: USC Premier Care through Keck Medicine of USC offers a no-cost Tobacco Cessation Program for Trojans who want to live a nicotine-free life.
Another Healthy Choice Offering is a primary care physician copay discount, which is outlined below. This offering is designed to encourage you to take an active role in your health care and save money.
Primary care physician (PCP) copay discount
If you enroll in the USC Trojan Care EPO or the USC PPO plan and designate a PCP for yourself and each of your covered dependents, you will receive a $10 discount on your office visit copay each time you visit your PCP (excluding visits to a specialist).
Be sure to designate your PCP by the 15th of the month for the credit to take effect on the first day of the following month. This discount applies to each covered family member with a designated PCP and is only available through the USC Trojan Care EPO and USC PPO plans.
