Since 2017, USC Health Plans has committed to the guiding principles of Improving Member Health Outcomes and Reducing Costs for members and the university alike. Each plan year, we evaluate benefit levels, benefit providers, cost share, and plan incentives. As part of the annual review into the university’s investment in healthy choice offerings, the Health Assessment and Fitness Incentives will be combined into one wellness incentive for 2025, with an updated savings of $300 on 2025 medical plan premiums.
We encourage you to continue to take advantage of the incentive, to reduce the medical premiums you pay and save an updated $300 per year. Complete your quick, convenient, and confidential Vitality Health Review and Vitality Check or achieve “Silver” status (2,500 points) by Dec. 13, 2024. Refer to the latest health assessment incentive flyer for more information and steps.
Faculty and staff who have already completed their Vitality incentive for 2025 do not need to do anything further. They will receive $25 per month in savings on their medical premiums.
The Fitness Incentive program is available through the end of calendar year 2024.
